Cancellation Policy
General Booking Policy – JC Guitar Academy This policy applies to all bookings with JC Guitar Academy, whether made individually or as part of a price plan. By booking a lesson, you agree to the following terms. 1. Bookings & Payment Lessons must be booked in advance to secure your place. Payment can be made online or in person (for in-person sessions). Online lessons must be booked in advance due to their scheduled nature. Price plans are set to auto-renew, unless cancelled with appropriate notice (see section 2). 2. Cancellations A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule an individual session. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will normally be forfeited, unless due to genuine emergencies at the discretion of JC Guitar Academy. For price plan subscriptions, a minimum of 4 weeks’ notice is required to cancel the plan to avoid the next renewal. 3. Rescheduling If cancellation is made within the required notice period, lessons may be rescheduled subject to availability. Rescheduled lessons must take place within the current booking period or plan cycle. For group lessons, missed sessions cannot normally be rearranged individually, though options may be discussed directly with JC Guitar Academy. 4. Refunds No refunds are provided for cancelled or unused lessons. Rescheduling options may be offered in place of refunds, subject to the conditions above. 5. Teacher Cancellations If JC Guitar Academy cancels a lesson, students will be offered either: A rescheduled session, or An extension of the plan validity to ensure no lesson is lost. 6. Expiry of Bookings For lesson plans, all included sessions must be used within the plan’s validity period (usually 1 month unless otherwise agreed). For single bookings, the session is valid only for the scheduled date unless rescheduled within policy. 7. Agreement to Terms By booking or purchasing a plan, you confirm that you have read and agreed to this policy. JC Guitar Academy reserves the right to review and update this policy as required.
